Anthony F. Santacroce, Arbitrations Only. During a distinguished 30-year career as senior trial attorney and counsel for Nationwide Insurance Company, Tony has decided to continue working as an Arbitrator associated with Litigation Alternatives.
Although somewhat constrained from full time practice as an Arbitrator due to his work, Tony has now retired from the full-time practice and now has scheduling flexibility to be available to hear cases.
During his career, Tony participated in over 100 jury trials for both personal and commercial clients. He also has counseled Nationwide in literally thousands of settlement negotiations.
His portfolio of trials includes a wide variety of personal injury cases with subject matters including, but not limited to:

- Products Liability
- Premises Liability
- Dram Shop
- Fire Loss
- Underinsured and Uninsured Motorist Cases
Tony has also participated in numerous hearings as attorney for defendants where he was able to bring many cases to conclusion using Arbitration. Additionally, he has served as a Special Master in Hartford Superior Court for the past 20 years, evaluating and deciding cases selected by the Court for this program.
He has also served as a private arbitrator for many years and has a well earned reputation as a fair arbitrator and excellent case evaluator.
After graduating from Quinnipiac Law, Tony began his legal career at Solomon and Stanton which was a general practice firm. While there, he represented plaintiffs in personal injury matters and trials. Tony then worked for the Law Offices of Dahlmayer, Labiner & Santacroce as in-house counsel for Home Insurance Company. His final stop prior to joining house counsel for Nationwide was as Managing attorney and house counsel for General Accident Insurance.
Tony will also currently be working on and negotiating cases on behalf of a private plaintiff’s firm in addition to being available as an Arbitrator through Litigation Alternatives, Inc.
